North Berwick and Tantallon Castle
Last weekend, I went to North Berwick with a friend. It was a fairly brief (~30 minutes), comfortable train ride out of Edinburgh, and a thoroughly enjoyable day. We walked out to Tantallon Castle, former seat of the Red Douglases, saw Craigleith Island and Bass Rock, as well as the surrounding country. Here are some photos of the visit:
